Mission, Vision, and Values:
Terrapex provides environmental, geotechnical, safety and related consulting services throughout Canada from our base in Ontario. Our business is built upon our core values of technical excellence, practical approach, personal service, integrity and respect. These values have been the foundation of our growth from a small, specialist consulting group to a mid size, multi-disciplinary professional services firm.
HISTORY:
Terrapex’s journey began with Mike Osborne, a passionate and experienced environmental engineer who had a vision of creating an environmental consulting firm that was focused on providing practical and efficient services, delivered by exceptional staff.
OUR APPROACH:
The scope of our projects ranges from peer reviews costing several hundred dollars to multi-million dollar, multi-faceted remedial programs. Our experience and expertise in environmental site assessment, remediation, contaminant management, materials inspection and testing and geotechnical engineering often exceeds that of larger companies; yet we still emphasize the responsiveness, personal relationship building, and innovative thinking commonly associated with small companies.
OUR TEAM:
Terrapex’s in-house multi-disciplinary team of professionals includes geologists, hydrogeologists, civil, geotechnical and environmental engineers, biologists, environmental scientists, technicians, and technologists. Terrapex’s senior staff are recognized leaders in the consulting industry and are well-respected and trusted by regulatory authorities. We are proud to be 100% employee-owned, with over 30% of our staff currently benefiting from being shareholders.
Associations and Certifications:
Terrapex operates under engineering and geoscience licenses in several Canadian provinces and holds a variety of safety certifications.

Terrapex is proud to be the Canadian representative for the Inogen Environmental Alliance, a global alliance of consulting firms that is renowned for providing high-quality, and cost-effective environmental, health, safety, energy, and sustainability solutions to leading multinational organizations.
