Terrapex announces internal promotion to manage Environmental Risk Assessment business unit
Terrapex is extremely pleased to announce the promotion of Elizabeth (Liz) Madden to the role of Manager, Risk Assessment in our Environmental service line!
Part of the Terrapex team since 2011, Liz has considerable experience in environmental site assessment and remediation, human health and ecologic risk assessment, risk management, and soil/sub-slab vapour and indoor air sampling at contaminated properties.
Recognized by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks as a Qualified Person for Risk Assessment (QPRA), Liz is also a licensed professional engineer (P.Eng.) and Qualified Person for submitting Records of Site Condition (QPESA) and is able to prepare risk management plans that involve engineered barriers to contaminant exposures (e.g., hard caps and fill caps, vapour intrusion mitigation systems).
As our new Practice Area Manager, Liz will be responsible for managing our environmental risk environmental business unit, establishing technical standards and standard procedures for human health and ecological risk assessments and related projects, and assisting in the development and execution of business development and growth strategies for the risk assessment practice area specifically, and the environmental service line overall.
Please do not hesitate to contact Liz or any other member of her team to assist you with your contaminated sites risk assessment needs!
