Richard Davies is a dedicated and results-driven Health and Safety Manager with significant experience in environmental compliance, occupational health and safety, and regulatory guidance dating back to 2006. At Terrapex, Richard leads the development, implementation, and oversight of health and safety programs to ensure a culture of safety and compliance across all operations.
Throughout his career, Richard has successfully designed and implemented EHS management systems (ISO 14001, 45001), conducted compliance audits, and worked closely with regulatory agencies to maintain high safety standards. His expertise spans hazardous waste management, asbestos safety, contractor safety programs, and employee training, making him a valuable resource in fostering a safe and compliant workplace.
Prior to joining Terrapex, Richard held key leadership roles in the environmental and health and safety sectors, providing strategic guidance and hands-on support to organizations across various industries. His strong communication skills enable him to effectively engage with stakeholders, from employees and contractors to government agencies.
Richard holds a B.A. in Environmental Resource Studies from Trent University and has earned multiple professional certifications, including ISO 14001 and 45001 Lead Auditor and LEED Accredited Professional. His commitment to continuous improvement and passion for workplace safety drive his approach to protecting employees and ensuring regulatory compliance.
