Terrapex Renews Sponsorship of the Toronto Excess Soils Symposium 2026
Terrapex is pleased to announce the renewal of our sponsorship of the Toronto Excess Soils Symposium, taking place on September 24, 2026, at Evergreen Brick Works (550 Bayview Avenue, Toronto).
As one of Ontario’s leading industry events focused on excess soil management, the symposium brings together regulators, developers, contractors, consultants, legal professionals, and environmental practitioners to share insights and discuss emerging challenges, opportunities, and best practices.
The 2026 Symposium Agenda has recently been released, and we are proud to share that Peter Sutton, Terrapex’s Vice President, Environmental Services, will once again contribute to the program as a panelist. Peter will participate in the session: “The Devil is in the Details: Navigating the Nuances of Excess Soil Regulation”. This panel will explore unintended outcomes and potential legal implications that can arise from the strict application of Ontario Regulation 406/19, particularly in complex and highly nuanced situations.
